Rully Blanc

Dureuil-Janthial
Rully, Burgundy
Since the age of 24, Vincent Dureuil has elevated his family winery, Dureuil-Janthial, to become a top producer of chardonnay and pinot noir in Southern Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise.

Assuming control of the family estate in 1994, Vincent Dureuil was the first winemaker in his village of Rully to introduce organic farming. The 20 hectares of vineyards are hand-harvested, fermented, and aged in a mixture of French oak barrels and steel tanks, before bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Vincent Dureuil produces compelling expressions of both chardonnay and pinot noir, no easy feat. You might be forgiven for thinking his lively, yet mineral focused white wines have more in common with the quality of the more heralded villages in the Côte-D’Or.
