Succés Vinícola
Conca de Barberà, Spain
Mariona Vendrell and Albert Canela fell in love while studying winemaking in Tarragon before starting Succés Vinícola at just 20-years-old.
They started making wine from the trepat grape, an indiginous Spanish varietal grown in the mountain vineyards of Conca de Barberà. Through Albert’s vinous-connected family, the couple networked with local organic farmers to start their journey.
One of their primary wines is the aromatic, light-bodied Cuca de Llum, which is made from 20-47 year-old vines planted 400-500 meters above sea level. A fun and delicious love story!
